Historical and Ecological Patrimony
Founded in the first half of the XVI century, Paraty became ,around 1700, the second most important port of the country. Paraty is a National Historical Patrimony and candidate to the title of Patrimony of Mankind, given by UNESCO.

Town
The
colonial housing, totally preserved, is reserved to pedestrians only
(vehicles are prohibited). During the day, and even more at night, there
are a lot of options such as art studios, shows, concerts and a theatre,
aside the excellent gastronomy of the region.
